Trắc
Trắc means to Augment, (rise). The word was used in Vietnamese literature around 1950s. This work is an interpretation from the Nguyen Trac logo which includes texts/different color composition ratio canvas. Trắc the title and idea for the piece was contextualized by NBL(Vietnamese Author). Ver.2 His Son NTV, combined the idea with his childhood fascination for dandelions which inspired the round out-line and the right diagonal-cut. The cut is angled at 23.5 degrees(tilt of the Earth) which runs through 4 of the 9 lines which make up the Globe, depicting the hierarchy of society and the steps one takes to Augment. Ver.3 The image was designed for print(CMYK) and so this version has color definition composes of 2 colors #6699CC with #006699 outline. Canvas(mask) are defined and cropped including with slight mathematical adjustments which harmonizes better to golden spiral.
